Daily Meditations

January 1st, 2020 I began a daily drawing practice using objects that I intercepted with each day, along with a lesson or thought I was pondering or holding close. These are all done on 6”x11” Bristol paper with Ultra Fine Point Sharpie marker and finished with watercolor. They represent a calendar of thoughts and emotions, lessons learned, and a daily moment of meditation and reflection. Originally I was only going to do this for one year but at the conclusion of 2020 I feel there is still more to say and this practice has become important to maintaining stability in my life. I hope that others find them useful as well.

These pieces have been exhibited at the Tenderloin Museum in San Francisco and at the Off-Ludlow Gallery in Cincinnati.
